October 14, 2009 at 10:54 am Posted in Film. So, I’m finally getting around to discussing this film, which I actually watched a couple of weeks ago. And, as expected, it did not disappoint! On a last note, I honestly bought this film to see some more Clark Gable yumminess, but instead ended up with a rejuvenated love for Spencer Tracy. My heart just broke for “Square John” throughout this film. Leave a Comment ». Feed for comments on this post. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. You are...

5 great films I saw in October. October 22, 2009 at 2:35 pm Posted in Film. 1 My Man Godfrey (1936). So, I finally got to watch this film after putting it on the back burner for so long. I have to say that something was definitely wrong with me for waiting so long – the film is hilarious! I’m going to definitely expand my commentary on this film some other time! 2 Kramer vs. Kramer (1979). I totally cried like a baby, at the end of the film. 3 Rose Marie (1936). 4 The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer (1947).

Ranking in a top-ten list turned out to be not only impossible, but also impractical, since there are just too many actors I love. Therefore, I have decided to simply list and categorize into three different levels:. All-time favorites; the actors I never tire of]. James Stewart, Steve McQueen, Clark Gable, Dustin Hoffman, Gregory Peck, Fred Astaire, John Cusack, Leonardo DiCaprio, Paul Newman. I love ’em, but I don’t bend my back to see every film they’ve ever starred in]. Leave a Comment ». A Noodle In...

4 great films i saw in november. December 2, 2009 at 4:13 am Posted in Film. Again, first-viewings…. 1 Made For Each Other (1939). This was another typical sentimental drama, but I really enjoyed it. As usual, Jimmy Stewart plight of the common man = Winner. Lombard also gave a great performance. The only problem I had when watching this film was the poor sound/picture quality. It really annoys me that there aren’t any decent transfers of this film on DVD. 2 Stage Door (1937). 1 Comment ». You are commen...

Happy Birthday, Kate. October 5, 2009 at 3:01 am Posted in Muse. Today marks the 34th birthday of the gorgeous and talented Kate Winslet! I cannot even begin to express how much I respect and admire Kate as an actress, so I shall leave it at this: I believe she is one of the greatest actors of our time. Cheers, Kate! Updating is hard |

November 14, 2009 at 1:08 am Posted in Uncategorized. It has clearly been really difficult for me to update. It’s really not that I’ve been lazy, but more like swamped with school, job, etc – in other words, the reality of life. But now that I’m finished with midterms, I feel so much more at ease. I even modified the layout of this blog, with a cool header of the beautiful Kate. I’m still deciding on which film to feature first; I hate being stuck in that eternal cycle of indecision.
