That is way easier said than done! Let’s face it — we are wired in such a way that we. Why, then, are we still dissatisfied? For what you want....

Monthly Archives: February 2012. February 20, 2012 · 9:18 am. I Surrender… All? It’s true. I’m a control freak. There’s nothing worse for me than when something breaks my routine. My world practically spins out of control if something isn’t done exactly the way I want it at exactly the right time. And if it’s not going to be done the way it’s always been done, then you’d better give me a week’s notice so I can mentally prepare myself. So how do we learn how to submit control to God? If we truly believe t...

I Surrender… All? May 18, 2012 · 12:54 pm. Reflections from a First-Time Faster. Have you ever tried food fasting before? I ultimately settled on a food-fast, drinking only water, for three days. But God is so faithful. He told me, “In your weakness, I give you my strength. It is when you are. That you have room for me. That’s what brokenness is all about. It’s admitting that you are missing something that only I can offer.”. One thing I’ve come to realize is just how. It is to struggle in life. Why?
