I Hope You Dance: My baby is one
http://whatmenliveby.blogspot.com/2013/05/my-baby-is-one.html
I Hope You Dance. Sunday, May 5, 2013. My baby is one. I knew this would be the last first birthday party I would ever throw for my kids. I wanted this to be fun for everyone who came. I originally thought of a Star Wars theme since he was born on Star Wars day. That quickly went out the window when I realized there was nothing that would work for a one year old. The cakes and prizes. And he loved it. Not so sure about the flame on the cake. He was so slow at first. So Alex thought he would help. He ...

I Hope You Dance: Aaron's blessing
http://whatmenliveby.blogspot.com/2012/07/aarons-blessing.html
I Hope You Dance. Monday, July 2, 2012. We blessed Aaron while Andy's brother was in town. It was the start of a crazy week for us but I am glad we were able to have so much family up here. Andy gave Aaron a beautiful blessing. Afterwards we had lunch at the park by our house. I am so grateful for all of our family coming so far to be part of this day. Andy's aunt crocheted these cute booties for him. Those who were in the circle. Posted by A and M Ras. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A and M Ras.

Grey Matters: Getting our Christmas on!
http://charlotteandjoebrown.blogspot.com/2011/12/getting-our-christmas-on.html
Monday, December 5, 2011. Getting our Christmas on! Is a weird way to restart my blog, but if I don't do it, it will never happen. So remember this little guy? He isn't so little anymore. He is doing great. We consider him a true miracle. He is a piece of heaven on earth. He is still always happy, and never complains. In fact the only time he really cries is when his brothers and sister are getting scolded. Bless his heart. He hasn't been in the hospital for over a year! He is talking a lot! He approache...

Grey Matters: December 2009
http://charlotteandjoebrown.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 28, 2009. When I'm worried and I can't sleep. I count my blessing instead of sheep. Then I fall asleep counting my blessings. When my bank roll is getting small. I think of when I had none at all. And I fall asleep counting my blessings. I think about a nursery. And I picture curly heads. And one by one I count them. As they slumber in their beds. So if your worried and you can't sleep. Count your blessings instead of sheep. And you'll fall asleep counting your blessings. Best for baking...

One More Makes Four: December 2009
http://kellytabbal.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
One More Makes Four. Thursday, December 24, 2009. REPOST: The Little Fabric Tree. How many of us as children, or even adults, for that matter, would be satisfied with the Christmases the author so fondly describes? I mean, a homemade doll and a pair of new shoes as opposed to an iPod for everyone and months and months of debt? It's a Wonderful Life. And now I think of how proud his parents must be that their kids actually got the point, even at a young age. I hope I can instill that in our child. While a...

One More Makes Four: A Child's Prayer
http://kellytabbal.blogspot.com/2010/01/childs-prayer.html
One More Makes Four. Thursday, January 21, 2010. When Ella says the prayer, she singles everyone in the room out and asks for a specific blessing on that person for something: "Please bless Uncle Travis, that his cough will get better." "Please bless Daddy, that he'll be safe at school." You get the idea. Two nights ago, this was mine: "Please bless Aunt Kelly, that she'll have her baby and we can all be happy.". Okay, so maybe I need to bring the whining down a notch. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
