http://collegeatforty.blogspot.com/2008/09/eckerd-pel-program-is-definitely-out.html
Thursday, September 18, 2008. Eckerd' PEL Program is Definitely Out. I was able to speak to an admissions advisor in the PEL program @ Eckerd today, and she quite clearly told me that the courses I am interested in are not available to students in the Pel program. Well, disappointing, but good to know. The school of my dreams, University of PA, is there. If nothing else, I would have access to its libraries and the awesome archaeology museum. If it is meant to be, it will be! Posted by Tammy Winand.

Monday, September 15, 2008. I was very excited.until. I was very excited about the prospect of New College. But they have not responded to my questions, and they do not seem to offer a regular schedule of classes. In the meantime.I have discovered that YouTube is a great source for history documentary programming, including a 6 part series on Mesopotamia which I plan to watch starting this evening. Tomorrow we're going downtown to the main library, which is always fun. I love books! Posted by Tammy Winand.

Return to Colombia
Hope is a journey. Posted by jyesmith at 5:18 AM. At Bogota airport, we said goodbye to Chivers who travelled to Rio, and I said goodbye to my Colombian family who had come out to send me off. Soon enough we were on our flight and fast asleep. Regardless of who you're sharing with, you quickly learn just how busy a 12 person dorm feels. And we had to feel sorry for the lone girl traveling with her friend. We had a reasonably early night and were finally on the last leg of our journey. After returning fro...

A man with a mission and two or three editions. December 28, 2006. Justice Society of America #1. Art: Dale Eaglesham and Art Thibert. What, no zero issue? It’s nearly impossible to read this restart without making comparisons to the revamped JLA title Brad Meltzer is penning. These sister titles may have roots separating them by a generation and a slightly different sensibility about them, but there is still great commonality between the them. So let’s get the comparison out of the way early: this is a.
