It’s Claire here, I’m usually behind the scenes on the blog, selecting pictures, editing Iain’s ramblings, or being the butt of jokes. But no more! Iain- and The Clash formed just round the corner. WHICH IS AMAZING. It's also nice that we have some friends who are neighbours (Hello Tom and Ellie! So while we ha...

A trip to Billingsgate: making a bad thing good. You may have heard of Rastamouse. The carp play the harp: Fish pie recipe. I've not seen many Disney films. I vaguely remember seeing Cinderella at the cinema, possibly in Darlington, as a youngster. Other than that I've seen Toy Story, if Disney-Pixar counts. Oh, and I watched the Lion King on the plane to Malaysia last year. I enjoyed it. Some fish, you want...

Food is the theme. Random witterings all tied roughly together by the theme of food and drink and with the odd recipe thrown in. Food is the theme posts. Sunday, 24 July 2011. This recipe laksa certain something. Rather depressingly my google image search for 'Heinz vegetable soup' brought me to 'www.a-taste-of-britain.de' website. Richard Holder's Model Railways
Richard Holder's Model Railways. Welcome to the home of Richard Holder's Model Railways. My first serious attempt at railway modelling was the creation of a 'OO' loft layout in the 1970's and later another 'OO' layout which featured a narrow gauge branch line. This was built in a garage when my wife and I and our family lived in Warwickshire. It was not until I retired in 2003 that I really developed my modelling skills and focussed on narrow gauge railways. Joining The 009 Society. Featured in July 2009.
