Rideventures is headed up by Andy Dawson - who caught the sportive bug back in 2011. Since then he's become a CTC qualified ride leader. And a British Cycling Level 2 coach. Andy reviews sporives for Cyclosport magazine. And blogs about hill climbing and bike techniques. He also runs a regular Thursday group ride. Rideventures is involved in three Shropshire sportives. Our way of developing sportive routes with local riders means the events we work on are popular and well received. Our expertise also comes from years of riding and reviewing sportives for www.cyclosport.org. We work with several charities to organise their fundraising cycling events. We've already started doing the recon rides - we're exploring the possibility of a shorter route - 100km or so for people who don't fancy the full, classic 150 option.
