Unfortunatly reality is not the same as the financial optimism that one has before starting a journey such as this. So due to discarding of the rose colored glasses I have had to postpone Australia and will head to Argentina after South Africa. Well South America is so far away I really have no idea what route I will take. But this seems to be a decent route.

Saturday, August 25, 2012. Story City, Iowa. We found a great city park to stop at on our drive to Council Bluffs. This time, Ken found craw-dads to show the kids. They slowly got over being terrified! It's a beautiful spot. I think their favorite part might have been the tractor ride and the strawberry donuts, but at least we also have lots in our freezer!
