Trusting God no matter what. 3 Year Old Nathan's Cancer Journey. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Nathan has begun radiation! I can't tell you how amazed I am at this little boy. He's adapted to this new life so quickly. Today they asked if he wanted to ride in the bed down to radiation or in his stroller. Usually he's put to sleep before going to radiation but today he got to ride down awake, sitting up. He did fantastic! Lord thank you so much that Nathan has adapted so well to this new lifestyle! Thank y...

http://trustinggodnomatterwhat.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Trusting God no matter what. 3 Year Old Nathan's Cancer Journey. Thursday, December 30, 2010. Today at clinic, Nathan's doctors took him off of all of his medicines except one that he'll have to take for about 6 months! This is so exciting for us! We're looking at either January 27th or 28th for his scans to see if he's in remission. The doctor said based off of his past history it's looking good. Nathan enjoyed a wonderful Christmas! The doctor said in a few months we can resume any activities he enjoys!

http://oursecondblessing.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
The Shafer's Are A Family. Sunday, July 18, 2010. Yesterday marked the third anniversary that we said good-bye to Angela. We took Friday off, and took Danny to the Zoo. Which was also our fifth wedding anniversary :) Time flies when you are having fun. Danny is the perfect age for the Zoo. He loves animals. Monkeys. Giraffes. Lions (just ask him, how does a Lion go? And you'll get a resilient.ROAR! And while he enjoyed seeing all of these animals, he was far more interested in what you ask? David carried...

The Shafer's Are A Family: September 2012
http://oursecondblessing.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
The Shafer's Are A Family. Saturday, September 29, 2012. My kids are freakin' hilarious. They say the craziest things. Well, at least Danny does. Michael says: ball, doggy, NO, more, mama, Danny, and a handful of other words. What his words don't say, his smile or scowl does. He makes the best facial expressions. Danny startled me the other day. After he stopped laughing, he said, "Mom, I scared the Be-Jesus out of you". Yes Danny, yes you did. It's a rescue helicopter". God love him. He is currently un-...

The Shafer's Are A Family: October 2010
http://oursecondblessing.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
The Shafer's Are A Family. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Man, I have been horrible at updating my blog. HORRIBLE with a capital H. The last post is from August. Over two months ago. Wow. SLACKER. Life is good. We've been having so much fun, that at the end of the day, when I should be making time to journal all of the great things we've done, I end up checking facebook. Or reading some of my celebrity gossip websites (people, usmagazine. Etc) Worthless time sucks, but oh so fun.and sometimes addicting!
