How to Get to River Lights Festival in Amherstburg. Route #1 - From Bridge. Take Huron Church Rd. to E.C. Rowe Expressway West. Follow E.C. Rowe Expressway to the end (stoplight). It becomes County Rd. 20. Continue straight on County Rd. 20 (Old Hwy. #18) for 20 km./12.5 mi. through LaSalle and into Amherstburg. Route #2 - From Hwy 401. Follow 401 toward Ambassador Bridge to exit 10 (County Rd. 9 to Amherstburg). Follow straight through the traffic circle to continue on County Rd. 9.

Saturday Dec. 5th - 5:00 to 9:00 pm and Sunday Dec. 6th - 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Come and join the fun - face painting, dog costume contest, and horse drawn carriage rides. Stroll through a farmer's Market along Dalhousie Street with costumed period actors. Roaming the streets and enjoy Santa Claus shout-outs to all the kids. See a historical encampment by the Provincial Marine re-enactors with hot apple cider. Heated over the open fire and St. Nicolas telling the story of the original Huron Christmas.

A Sampling of the LED Lighted Displays. River Lights Winter Festival is proud to showcase. Our constantly growing collection of LED lighted displays. The displays are located in two connected parks in Downtown Amherstburg. The Navy Yard Park and Toddy Jones Park. We are able to keep growing our LED lighted display collection. Because of the generous sponsorships of businesses and individuals. Watch for 'Blinky the Snowman' throughout the Festival. Bring a 'toonie' to the lights!
