Rob and Melissa (. In the meantime, I’ve been hanging out close to home, reading a lot and getting ready for the holidays. One afternoon, while reading the NYT at work, I THOUGHT I came across an additional stop for our trip: Melrose Inn in Prospect, Kentucky. Birthplace of the Derby Pie. Sadly, the Inn has closed. Rob and Melissa (. I have been terrible about updating this thing as of late, and I am sorry. I had a crazy week at work last week, and I celebrated my 23rd birthday on Monday. So I haven’t had time to keep up with this. Only three new additions to the road trip this week:. The Flying Biscuit in Georgia. Rob and Melissa (. More possible trip stops. I was surfing the Web the other day, probably doing something work-related, and i came acrosse the mennonite information center. they have a reproduction of the biblical tabernacle and a supposedly beautiful film about the amish. i think it might be kind of fun to check it out as long as it's convinient to stop. [2209 Millstream Road, Lancaster, PA]. That's all i've got right now . The body work people did an excellent job. i am quite thrilled.

We're currently trying to decide whether to save the 13 year old car or buy a new one. we're taking the road trip into account as we talk through our options . do we really want to take this thing so far from home and, basically, be at the mrecy of a car that hasn't exactly been very good to us in the past year we've had it? It's a small world when Harley's are involved. My former drunken landlord was with the Outlaws and frequented the bars they did, of course. We used to go in too so that we could talk to him.and drink. Let's not kid ourselves. Our new dispatcher is a woman biker that knows both us and the FDL from the bar. This is a good thing. Hello; I have joined sometime ago and just finally had the time to sit down and post. I am an owner operator for a mid-sized Alberta based company that hauls to northern Alberta and the Canadian Arctic. I spend a great deal of time in the Northwest Territories running between Edmonton, Alberta and Yellowknife NWT and all points in-between. I spend time in the winter on the ice roads in the Arctic. Can be dangerous and harrowing with the cold and limited roads, but on the whole is alot of fun.
