Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Grandma Smith flew into town that afternoon, picked up Hannah and Lydia from Alexis Shaeffer, and Alissa from school and brought them to hospital to meet their new sibling. We hadn't told ANYONE about the gender yet because we had promised that the girls would be told VERY FIRST before anybody else. (I did tell my parents when I called them after delivering, but they weren't going to spread the word! Tyson bought 4 balloons - 3 of them said "Its a Boy! Spencer Thurman and Fam.

Thursday, October 25, 2012. A Phone Conversation and A New Nurse. Today in the car, Sadie brought along her toy cell phone. The conversation went something like this:. To Andrew: "Shhhh. Andrew, I'm on the phone.". To the pretend person on the phone: "No, we're not going to the park because my numbers aren't up. Ummm. We're not going to Adele's house. We're going to. 'where we going mom? On a happier note.we took Sadie to the park a while back to snap some photos. Isn't she a doll? Next time, right?

Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Today I dared take Sadie to the park. I don't take her often, so this was a pretty big deal. Her counts are up, and she's had a good break from chemo, so I thought this was as good a time as ever. December 20, 2010. Its official. The holidays are over. Spence is back at work and I am back to our routine. Though I don't mind the routine, I am sad for it all to be over. Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Adirondack Moutains, Old Forge New York. After attending the Utica Ward and eating a yummy "Wirthlin Sunday" dinner, we took a long Sunday afternoon drive! We drove up into the Adirondack Mountians and it was beautiful. There was a new lake around each corner in the highway. It was incredible! This particular lake reminded me of the original movie "The Parent Trap" where the girls go to the girls camp in the mountains. Me and my sis! So glad I got to see her this weekend!
