Francisco M. e Felipe P. Cardoso Island. Quinta-feira, 20 de maio de 2010. A trip to lagamar. Cardoso Island is in the south coast of São paulo state. The wheather is most of the days it is sunny and but sometimes rains. You can see "Morro do Espia" in Iguape, you can see the beach, the church, the mangrove and the rainforest, if you are lucky you can see and swim with some dolphins on the beach and you can see the old houses too. When we went there we stayed in a hotel called "Golfinho Plaza Hotel".

Cardoso Island is located on the border of São Paulo and Paraná.To get there take Rodovia Regis Bittencourt until you get to Cananeia then take a boat service to Cardoso Island. The weater is hot in the summer but it rains a lot, in the winter it is cold and it doesn't rain. You should take a jacket a rain coat and a hat but don't forget to take insect repellent and sun protection lotion with you.

There you can see dolphins in the sea, and some birds diving to get fish. You can visit the Atlantic Rainforest, go into the mangrove, you can eat in a good restaurant that cooks fish, chicken, rice, etc. During the winter, it doesn't rain much, but in the summer, it can rain a lot. Our trip to Cardoso Island was very exciting.It is located on the south coast of São Paulo, and is a part of Cananéia. We spent three to four hours to get there. The driver took Rodovia Regis Bittencourt, until the city of Cananéia. When we arrived in Cananéia, we stayed in a small hotel called Golfinho Plaza. It is a simple rustic. Get full of mud!
