Shaunna Petersons ravings and cravings. Just me, yammering about my life. Sunday, August 15, 2010. A long time away. I didn't even realize how long it's been since i've blogged on here. Time to step up my program. This summer pretty much flew by, thanks to a lot of fun, and a whole month of being incredibly sick. Dylan starts his first day of kindergarten tomorrow morning. I can't believe it, time certainly does have a habit of slipping away. SO to catch everyone up. Mr D watching tv. I love to draw hands.

That's right, it's time to doll up and get witchy! This time of year is also great to head up the road from where we live to Oak Glen. Scoring fresh-picked apples and seeing a few beautiful birds along the way = priceless! Bunches and the Boys on Pirate Island. Bunches also got me a new winter hat! Oh, i love it so!

Summertime is coming to a close and Dylan will be starting the first grade tomorrow morning. i'm equal parts nervous and excited. we've had a good run this summer, a few family trips together, raspberry and peach cobbler (so good i actually made this dish a couple of times - and pretty much hogged it all down by myself). And here are some progress shots of the Pixies "Dig For Fire" show piece i did.

I'm going to be trying to get new original art up for sale on my Etsy site each week (or so). This first gal was such a success that she sold immediately after posting her to my FB page. I had a lot of folks enquire about prints, so I've made them available here. They came out super cute in my opinion! He came out purty!
