I had an opportunity to speak (for the second year in a row) at Portland State University. This time I was invited to give a lecture on my research of migrant women’s activism by the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies Department. I don’t think I expected it, but there were probably nearly a hundred people in the room. The lecture got some nice coverage in the campus paper. I didn’t get to eat Voodoo Doughnuts. On this trip (shucks! But I did get to enjoy great food from the PSU Food Carts.
