At 6:00pm I took my first dose of anti-rejection medicine and at 7:00pm another oral med which tasted wonderful, to prepare my kidneys for surgery. At 7:30pm, we received the dreaded news that there was a delay in the arrival of my lungs. My heart sank and I prayed the day would not turn out to be a dry run. . IT WAS NOT A DRY RUN NOR A DRESS REHEARSAL.WE WERE DOING THIS! MORE PICTURES TO COME.

Full of fitness, food and fun. Monday, January 9, 2017. Only a week into the new year and I am already off work from SNOW. We got about 8 inches (this is my guesstimate as I did not even bother measuring) from a big winter storm on Saturday. It has also been freezing. We hit 0 degrees last night and have not seen anything above 32 degrees since briefly on Friday afternoon. I love cold weather but I draw the line at single digits! And drinking. Ha! The kitties enjoyed the snow! I love my neighborhood:).
