Wrinkled Weasel's World: Thunderbirds are Go! Again!
http://wrinkledweasel.blogspot.com/2011/01/thunderbirds-are-go-again.html
The news this week, that Gerry Anderson is to begin work on a brand new series of Thunderbirds has warmed the welks of me ticker. I was a great customer for comics in the Sixties, and one of my regulars was TV Century 21. It revealed, to those of us in the UK, that Thunderbirds was actually, and fantastically, in COLOR! I never saw the live action movie because the critics panned it, and it seemed to me that it would sully my memories. No, I prefer Thunderbirds as envisaged by Gerry and his Mrs. ...I gre...

Wrinkled Weasel's World: This Cannot be Right
http://wrinkledweasel.blogspot.com/2011/06/this-cannot-be-right.html
This Cannot be Right. News today that an MP has been arrested on suspicion of Sexual Assault, and named to the press, is to me an outrage. This man is innocent until proven guilty. He now faces trial by media. His female accuser basks in anonymity. What is wrong with us? Can nobody see how damaging this kind of thing is to society? Is there not a case to be made for anonymity on both. Sides until the verdict? Posted by Wrinkled Weasel. Thursday, June 09, 2011. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Violent ...

Wrinkled Weasel's World: WAVELENGTHS 3

Christina grew up on a boat, a wooden schooner, which her father had bought in 1946. Built at Block Island, off Long Island in the USA, The Tappan Zee. Measured 38 feet over all and was 14 feet wide. Christina, together with her father, mother and two siblings sailed the oceans and inland waterways more or less continuously from the age of 5 to 15, beginning their incredible journey in 1958. In the introduction to her first book, Sea Urchin, she writes:. WW: Does it teach you some kind of resilience?

Wrinkled Weasel's World: Bob's here, Dave
http://wrinkledweasel.blogspot.com/2011/06/bobs-here-dave.html
Bob's here, Dave. It's been a strange week for me. A lot of activity last weekend and predictably I caught a cold. That would not have been remarkable if it were not for me not being able to breath properly, to the point of having to get an ambulance. A moment to forget. Ah, dear readers, if only you knew. My highlight of the week, apart from still being alive, was a wonderful stay with another rock star, this time, a nice one. He told me a story, given to him by one of the principals:. Mr Rumpy Pumpy, t...

Wrinkled Weasel's World: DF4D
http://wrinkledweasel.blogspot.com/p/df4d.html
DEAD FLOWERS FOR DAPHNE. Is, if you like, a side project of Wrinkled Weasel. It's a collaborative effort with occasional contributions from other Weasels. It's an audio romp through my mind. There are also contributions, more normal contributions, from friends. This first of DF4D might appeal to the medical profession, but has enough cross-over appeal to work for fans of Mary Poppins, I think. All the songs on here, including those of my friends are free to download. It's called Head and Shoulders. The n...

Wrinkled Weasel's World: The Alan Parsons Project
http://wrinkledweasel.blogspot.com/2010/05/alan-parsons-project.html
The Alan Parsons Project. What do vocalists Arthur Brown, Gary Brooker, Colin Blunstone, Alan Clarke and Steve Harley have in common? Answer: they have all done guest vocals for The Alan Parsons Project. Were making albums, you will not have heard them unless you had a cool friend or traveled abroad, because for some reason the band was totally ignored in the UK. Indeed, my first hearing of TAPP was in a small cafe in Minorca of all places. They played the entire Pyramid. And Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Wrinkled Weasel's World: Wrinkled Weasel's true identity
http://wrinkledweasel.blogspot.com/2011/06/wrinkled-weasels-true-identity.html
Wrinkled Weasel's true identity. The real Wrinkled Weasel. Since I have now been outed by the MSM, like this chap. I thought it was time to come clean. Sadly, this did not go according to plan because people thought it was real. Not only that, some readers complimented "WW" on his comments. So now you know the truth. Kind Regards, Moonstar Olthorpe. Posted by Wrinkled Weasel. Monday, June 13, 2011. I can see why you wanted to keep your true identity a secret! Nice work. Lets hear it for the WMCSMs! Thing...

Wrinkled Weasel's World: Sorry Herman, I'll go for the Cuckoo Clock, anytime
http://wrinkledweasel.blogspot.com/2010/11/sorry-herman-ill-go-for-cuckoo-clock.html
Sorry Herman, I'll go for the Cuckoo Clock, anytime. Mr Rumpy Pumpy, the current EU council president, has recently ejaculated this. We have together to fight the danger of a new Euroscepticism. This is no longer the monopoly of a few countries," he said. "In every member state, there are people who believe their country can survive alone in the globalised world. It is more than an illusion: it is a lie.". Erm, what about Switzerland. The government will be politically dead if we accept something that is...
