Tuesday, November 30, 2010. For the last few months, I've been mentally preparing myself for the time AFTER the holidays and the mere two months that will remain until Bean arrives. One of those "holidays" is over, and the wagon (or, this overstuffed large mama, if you prefer that metaphor) is rolling downhill. Additional Sidenote: I have my glucose screening at tomorrow's appointment as well. Brian has instructed me to stop inhaling chocolate for the following 24 hours in hopes of passing the test.

Friday, August 26, 2011. The Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. When we first pulled into port, we were greated by this gigantic (and a little random) castle. Once we got on our bus to continue on to Amalfi, we saw the infamous mountain itself. Mt. Vesuvius. Notice the 2 peaks; it wasn't always like that. The explosion was so massive and intense that it actually changed the shape of the peak. Poor unsuspecting Pompeiians. I thought these wildflowers were really pretty. Monday, July 18, 2011. Honeymoon Part II: Rome (well some of it). Day 2 on our Mediterranean cruise was Rome. Rome in about 8 hours? Rome was so fascinating. I love history, and Rome is the capital of the world when it comes to history. It's EVERYWHERE. First off, we'll start with the crazy drivers. HOLY MOLY. I now have a management title and I am exempt and making more money than I was. Too bad it will only be for a little while. Friday, June 10, 2011. And Honeymoon Part I: Barcelona, Florence, and Pisa. We're back from wedding bliss and an amazing honeymoon! I guess that's a good sign. Yesterday we ordered some big "standout" pictures of our engagement pictures to display at the wedding as well as make a collage on our bedroom wall! It's going to look so neat!
