I’ve studied this illness since 1999, and during this time I’ve run across several questions people have about MPD/DID in general, so I’ll post my take on them. I can only speak for me and my system, but I hope they give you some insight. This is a work in progress; polite questions are always welcome. So this is like schizophrenia, right?
