Fridvalsky’ Mineralogia Magni Principatus Transilvaniae as the first Karst form in the region. Although it’s fauna is relatively poor and some of the stalactites and stalagmites have been destroyed by benevolent tourists, Dambovicioara is visited yearly by hundreds of people charmed also by the natural scenery around the cave.
