https://heretaungacc.blogspot.com/2016/12/a-double-70th.html
HERETAUNGA CARAVAN CLUB Inc. A collection of like minded people who like to use their caravans, motorhomes etc on a regular basis. Tuesday, 20 December 2016. Val and Bill were celebrating their respective 70th birthdays and caravan club members joined them at their home, together with family and friends for a birthday BBQ. Also sharing birthday honours was grandson Gus, who had just turned 6. It looks rather like a caravan rally. There were sausages, chicken, and kebabs cooking away.

Narrowboat Inca: Ticked the box
http://nbinca.blogspot.com/2015/08/ticked-box.html
The adventures of Gary and Carolyn living aboard and continuously cruising the uk canals and rivers on narrowboat Inca. Thursday, 6 August 2015. We pulled pins at dead on 07.00 with our travelling companions for the day Neil and Ann on NB Heartsease. I think they were just as keen as us to get down through all of those 14 hard heavy locks in one day. With most of the industry gone at least the remaining chimneys serve a good purpose as mobile phone masts. Thursday, August 06, 2015. 6 August 2015 at 05:57.

Are We There Yet?: Train and first night in Vancouver
http://petallitraveller-arewethereyet.blogspot.com/2015/08/train-and-first-night-in-vancouver.html
Are We There Yet? Interesting photos and signs. Free and Low Cost Camps. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Train and first night in Vancouver. After staying in Seattle for one night after the cruise, we took the Seattle Shuttle bus to King Street Station for the Amtrak Cascade Coastal train to Vancouver. Check-in and security went smoothly. The train was comfortable and the view wonderful. The train moved slowly enough for the scenery to pass and for us to take photos. View from our room :(. In the lift :).

nb Waka Huia - The Treasure Box: August 2015
http://nbwakahuia.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Nb Waka Huia - The Treasure Box. Monday, 31 August 2015. What is the weather like today? Well, it's Bank Holiday Monday so of course it's raining. We understand them by context rather than by actual meaning. But here we are and it's raining. Then back to bed for me while David peeled squash (not real pumpkin), a sweet potato (not real kumara) and some crinkly parsnips so I can make soup later. My only mission for the day, should I decide to accept it, is to don my coat, get the granny trolley out from un...

The adventures of Gary and Carolyn living aboard and continuously cruising the uk canals and rivers on narrowboat Inca. Sunday, 16 August 2015. Tixall lock and again we were third in line to go up . I think we will have to start having some early mornings to miss all the queues as we are now well and truly into the silly season for the canals. We passed this chap lurking behind a bush. Curly reckons he's up to no good. We should be OK if we break down here. Sunday, August 16, 2015. 16 August 2015 at 14:52.

We left Three Valley Chateau and drove to Revelstoke for breakfast on the go. "Coffee at Tim Horton's is not very good" said Peter. Jonnie and I thought the hot chocolate was fine. This is the car we hired, well we actually hired a small 4 seater, but got upgraded for not much extra to this 7 seater. Again, we travelled through tunnels. Still travelling on t...
