Things We Bought That Suck.or Not. Some things suck, while others don't. Sunday, July 30, 2006. Easton and CCM, in Copper and Blue. Complete set of hockey equipment (except skates). And if anyone says otherwise I'll drop them with a crosscheck to the skull! Just for comparison, the current models which weren't on sale would have cost me about $700.I even got some Oilers socks and an Oilers-coloured helmet. Bring on the MIT frat boys! Things We Bought That Suck...or Not.: February 2006

Things We Bought That Suck.or Not. Some things suck, while others don't. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Lunch, a.k.a. Butter. Chicken chipotle sandwich from the Boston VA Hospital. 500 (with a 20 oz. "soda"). Suck, although the "soda" was fine. But the doctor couldn't find the hole in one guy's colon or something, blah blah blah, and we ended up being there all day. So, around 1:00, I decided to go get a sandwich from the cafeteria. And damn if it wasn't the worse-assed sandwich I've ever eaten! However, on...

Things We Bought That Suck...or Not.: January 2006
http://suckornot.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Things We Bought That Suck.or Not. Some things suck, while others don't. Saturday, January 28, 2006. Hockey Sticks and Italian Food. A hockey stick from City Sports. I bought a Sherwood hockey stick today, which didn't suck because it was on for 1/2 price ($21! And it was close to a pizza place, so I could conveniently enjoy a slice of pizza after shopping. A pizza slice from some pizza place near City Sports. Suck, but only because of the bag. Once I dug out the slice it was okay though. Well, now you h...

Things We Bought That Suck.or Not. Some things suck, while others don't. Sunday, October 08, 2006. Item: 1 Aunt Ella's Turkey. Price: $29.54 (Can). Suck or not: not. I was a little nervous to buy a turkey from a company called Aunt Ellas's and even more so when I read on to learn that Aunt Ella's is a "Turkey Cooperative" whatever the hell that is. However the low price and large size were just to much for me to turn down and I brought it home. Well let me tell you this was a great turkey!

Things We Bought That Suck...or Not.: August 2006
http://suckornot.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Things We Bought That Suck.or Not. Some things suck, while others don't. Wednesday, August 23, 2006. 1 Roundtrip ticket to Halifax withCanjet. I do remember the olden days, you know, where "flight attendants" were both "stewardesses" and "hot", and ticket prices included a tasty - yet well proportioned - meal. For $320 ($250 if I had waited a few weeks), I was impressed with the service on both the departure and return. This is a far cry from the weak tea and bag of sugar you get on an AC flight. Both ap...
