Room 5 Feels Alive! Friday, 27 June 2014. Our school had a visit by Fontera. They are the company who brings us the milk that we drink at school. We had pita pockets for lunch that were very tasty. Room 5 Feels Alive! Friday, 4 April 2014. Brooke didn't come to school on Friday because she had a BIG BIRTHDAY SURPRISE. We were all sitting on the mat getting ready to read our poems when Brooke came rushing in to say she was just visiting school with her birthday surprise. It was a pony! Wow - we all had to rush outside to meet Brooke's new pony. She is a Minature Horse and her name is Dolly. Dolly is going to have a baby horse called a foal in the middle of the year. Room 5 Feels Alive! Friday, 21 February 2014. We had a visitor to Victory Primary School. His name is Koffie. Koffie is from a country in west Africa called Ghana. He demonstrated some African drums for us and then taught the year 5 and 6 classes how to play them. The whole school beat the same rhythm together - some on the drums and everyone else on the floor. What a GREAT sleepover at school we had a few weeks ago. By FAR the favorite activity of all of Room 5 was playing spotlight on the field in the pitch black (with torches of course).
