Use our hands to shape the clay. Use tools to add detail. Use water to smooth the edges. Rough up clay to stick on the detail. Tuesday, 5 April 2016. Room Six Twenty Sixteen. Tuesday, 17 May 2016. In room 6 we have been doing art and this is what we have been doing for the past two weeks. We used Indian ink for going around the edges and used coloured dye for the inside. We made Koru's to symbolise our culture as they represent life, growth, strength and peace. Room Six Twenty Sixteen. Friday, 18 March 2016. Today we took out all the old plants from our planter boxes and emptied out the soil ready to paint. We will spend the next few weeks painting, digging and planting new bulbs to grown. Thursday, 17 March 2016. Mapping specific coastal features in New Zealand. Using the Scientific Method to experiment with waves. Today we IGNITED our new theme topic "Coastal Capers" with a science experiment. From this experiment we learnt how waves affect the coastlines.
