Now, what does this mean for my exercise and healthy eating? And in awesome weight loss news, I’ve lost 2kg (4.4 pounds)! The scales finally moved! Although I’m sure in a few weeks I’ll be gaining weight from the pregnancy. Hopefully I’ll lose body fat and gain muscle tone in the meantime… I can dream! June 3, 2009 at 8:51 am.

This morning I realised I was overdue for my monthly visitor and bought a pregnancy test just in case. I did it at work (yes I’m incredibly impatient) and… it’s positive! I can’t believe it. Obviously I’m going to get it confirmed by my doctor but… wow. That was quick! And seemingly easy. We weren’t even trying! Maybe Zane has strong swimmers. Anyway… YAY! June 1, 2009 at 9:05 pm.

I got up early and did another home pregnancy test (different brand this time) and it is positive too! So that makes it seem more real. We’ve already told my parents, Zane’s parents, my two closest friends and Zane’s brother and best mate. A lot of people but we’re just so excited! Maybe stick to gentler forms like walking? Even though I haven’t exercised in a few days I have been eating very well and the scales have rewarded me with a loss of .8kg! I have now lost 2.8kg which is just over 6 pounds! I will do a DVD this afternoon though. In pregnancy news, we bought a pram today! Can you tell we’re excited? It’s a second hand pram with lots of features. So cool!
