Last nights Suse and I were walking through the park near the perfume river and we were still being honked by scooter drivers to get out of their way while we are on a footpath! Wednesday, April 29, 2009. We are back in Hanoi again, after just getting back from Ha Long Bay. The overnight stay on the Junk was really nice. We saw some interesting caves and had a walk through them, then headed to a floating village to do some kyaking. It was overcast and the wind was howling so we elected to stay warm on the boat rather than get wet and cold. See you all in a couple of days. I thought it was cool to be american again? Did you ask them if they can see russia from their front yard?

Monday, April 27, 2009. We are in Hanoi. Currently we know exactly where we are. The same can't be said for where we were 40 minutes ago. It was somewhere on the other side of the sunglass, bamboo, ornament, brass statue, marble sculpture and hammock districts. We later found some other tourists with a map and managed to pinpoint a street that would take us back home again (near the lake). What a wonderful time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It also meant that when I woke up this morning, again after only three hours sleep, I am fairly sure I was still a little drunk (Mum – you didn’t read this)… But it was definitely a fun way to see to closure the first part of my USA trip.
