Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Kelly and the kids road the ferris wheel and said that it was a stomach dropping experience! We walked up to the second level. Thanks to P90X, I was able to hike the stairs without having a heart attack! The kids loved it! The Louvre. I was worried that Bailey and Noah would be board but they actually really enjoyed the art, sculpture, and underground ruins! We were exhausted after about 2 hours! The enchanting river Seine! Tuesday, August 16, 2011. This summer Kelly and I were invited to go to Thailand with our friends Os and Brooke. Why Thailand you ask? Well, I've always wanted to go to famous Phuket, an island off of southern Thailand. I have dreamed about it for years! Also, Os is Thai, both of his parents are Thai, and they were born and raised there before moving to Utah many years ago. Recently they got called to serve their second LDS mission in Bangkok! Thursday, January 28, 2010. After working ALL afternoon on the crazy, embarrassing art closet, I finally got to the point where I could take a picture! It still isn't a "cute" closet but the whole point of this project was to get it done so Kelly would be satisfied and the kids could actually find their art supplies! Who knows how long this sweet organization will last. Who knows if all this work was in vain. (Do I have to KEEP organizing on a regular basis? Here is what I learned from this experience:.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Road show made a come back! I have fond memories of the Road Shows our Stake did years and years ago. I was never old enough but my siblings had their share of performances. I can remember being captivated by the costumes, the stage props, the music! Oh how I wanted to be a part of it! But then, it just stopped! I was heart broken. Monday, May 31, 2010. Would you jump into this lake for $10.00? Hair cut, $12.00. Swimming trunks, $15.00. The look on this boy's face after a plunge in icy cold lake water.priceless! Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Twas the night before school. Well, I knew how the first day of school pictures would be. Puffy eyes from getting up hours too early, nappy hair, hurried smiles and overall, panic stricken faces! First day jitters tend to mess with the outcome of our early morning photo quality. Plus, we had wind! To eliminate all of these factors, we had a "twas the night before school" photo shoot! Btw, everyone did great on their first day! Welcome back to school my cute little children!

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Pool time, a must for summer time fun! Thursday, July 8, 2010. My cousin is moving away! Well, it's really not my cousin moving but my SISTER who I have called "cousin" since childhood. "Cousin Terry" to be exact. I know, weird. In a few days Erika and her family will be moving to Virginia for Medical School. I am sad to say goodbye since we have lived near each other for 5 1/2 years now but I'm excited for their adventure on the east coast! How they have done it, I don't know!
