Ross 10k and Fun Run. Ross 10k and Fun Run! The Ross 10k and Fun Run were started in 2011 to raise money for Acorns, the Children's Hospice Charity, and to date over £5,000.00 has been raised by the event. Every penny of the registration fees, £15 for the 10K and £2.00 for the Fun Run, goes directly to Acorns. Clear skies and a superb turnout lead to a great day for young and old. The live music throughout the day from Life the duo, Tequila Mockingbird and Greg Morris on his banjo, together with the cider bar and hog roast which was kindly donated and manned by The Whole Hog catering meant a very, very festival day.
