By Grace Alone. Through Faith Alone. In Christ Alone. Monday, June 16, 2008. So, yes, I will be traveling and wandering this summer all over the US, but it is because I will get the privilege of seeing some amazing people who are blessings to me.when you look at it that way, it doesn't seem so bad. :). Be still, and know that I am God;. I will be exalted among the nations,. I will be exalted in the earth.". The LORD Almighty is with us;. The God of Jacob is our fortress." Psalm 46:10-11.

Thursday, January 30, 2014. Whoo boy. I need some thankfulness to think about today. It's been a doozy of a week, and I'm tired and sweating out my stress levels. So let's get on with it, eh? 1 I'm thankful for checklists. They keep me sane and organized, and provide a tiny bit of peace of mind when I feel like I'm in a cart careening out of control. 3 I'm thankful for the upcoming weekend! 5 I'm thankful for these upcoming business trips. Even though it means more work to catch up on, it's going to ...

Thursday, September 26, 2013. Today has been a beautiful, productive, jam-packed day. So I'm going to jump right in and reflect on all the lovely things I have to be grateful for. 2 I'm thankful for the perfect Fall weather! Nothing beats riding my bike in the sun or going for a run in the chilly morning or wearing jeans and a sweatshirt and being JUST chilly enough to feel cozy. We even have a great Indian place all picked out for our new area, hey-o! What are you thankful for? On bacon and bike rides.

Thursday, July 16, 2015. So much for consistency in posting - oh well. Luckily, today is Thursday, and therefore merits a little thankfulness. Which I need. So let's do this with some pictures, okay? 1 I'm thankful for my first niece! Odessa was born the day after my birthday, and is a sweet, beautiful girl. I'm already plotting ways to steal her away and do fun things with her as she grows up. I love being an Aunt! 2 I'm thankful for our newest addition! 3 I'm thankful for Nolan's new bike! We used to l...

Sunday, June 21, 2015. There are so many things I could say about all of the huge changes in my life in the last year, but I've decided that the best way to capture a period of time is just to summarize. Try not to be. Overly excited with my lackluster narrative. Years, Nolan finally finished his road through med school and residency. We celebrated with MANY World Cup festivities (Oranje! And squeezing in all the time we could muster with all of our dear friends in the Bay Area. Of course, as anticipated...

Thursday, December 19, 2013. I tested myself this morning - I left the house for work while the bed was unmade and there were dishes in the sink and a pair of jeans on the floor in the office. You laugh, but that was hard to walk out on; just knowing that there is chaos where I can make order easily. Kind of like when I try to make myself not adjust my mat during yoga. It's hard to not focus on the crooked mat, but I think it's a good practice in overcoming my. Type A-ness, right? As much as I love my wo...

By Grace Alone. Through Faith Alone. In Christ Alone. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Since I have been in Reedley, CA, I have been blessed by the community that the Lord has put me in. I attend two different churches that have two very different kinds of community. And, I just have some really good friends who live in the area to add on to the new friends and family I am meeting. :). Because I do. I am not good at them. And today, I get to be thankful for community. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The campus, India, France, and beyond. Sunday, August 25, 2013. You know what's a good curative for a bout of moving-induced hysteria? Envisioning all the good things awaiting you in your new town. I can't wait to be. An in-floor trundle might be a tad advanced for me. Coming up with creative storage and furniture solutions. With the help of my Swedish friend, Ikea. We've been doing some brainstorming and.let's just say there's more to bookshelves than meets the eye. Finding quirky local coffee shops.

The campus, India, France, and beyond. Thursday, February 14, 2013. Please, Mr. Postman. There are two types of postman: jolly and non-jolly. In a postal adventure that will go down in personal history, my roommate Taiko and I encountered both varieties in their natural habitat several Saturdays ago. It was 1:40 when we left the house. “We have plenty of time! 8221; Taiko chirped. Is this address right? Taiko and I excel in the art of shenaniganry. 8220;Ok, how much is Priority? How much is First Class?
