FFT Question?: rpgmaker

Hi, I'm a RM2k3 user. I stumbled on a dillema while working on my RM2k3 game. Can anyone give me some tips, ideas, suggestions, (or examples, if this is something you've done). About how to make a "Final Fantasy Tactics"-style battle? For those not familiar with FFT, basically I want the player to have a number of selectable sprites on the screen. Each sprite can move or attack an adjacent enemy sprite. The player and the computer would take turns moving each sprite. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm new, to livejournal, and all. Found this through a friend, pretty nifty really, I have a few questions for those veterans out there. I've always been interested in making an online game, though I'd need something to help with programming and everything, graphics and whatnot wouldn't be a problem, though help with game mechanics would be good too. I've heard alot about RPGmaker programs, but they're all for PC's. Do any of you know of an RPG maker that works on Macs? Thanks for your time.
