RCMT: Road/Cyclocross/ Mountain/Triathlon: April 2010
http://rcmt.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
The Master B Caboose. Thursday, April 22, 2010. Dura Ace vs. Dura Ace vs. Dura Ace. I realized a couple of days ago that I have three bikes with Shimano Dura Ace groups. All different set ups though. I have my Lapierre with the Di2 7950 stuff. I have my father's old Specialized SWorks carbon with the 7800 model group. I have my custom steel Cernitz Mule commuter with its 9 speed dura ace bar end shifter (way low tech). The one that gets ridden the most? Will I trade in the other stuff? Create your own vi...

The Wheel Den: October 2009
http://bikeracingwheels.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Always chasing something or someone. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Verge NECCS #8 Downeast Day 2 Report. Don't worry, these results are not going to my head! The wooded sections were barely rideable up or down and the open fields were saturated leaving you no break from keeping power to the pedals. And I had nothing but disdain for the course and my thoughts on how I thought the race would go. "Suck" was my best descriptor. JB tried to motivate me be letting me know how cool it was that I beat MTB p...Was t...

The Dragon Breathes Fire. In December of 2008, I raced my bike for the first time in Europe in preparation for the 2009 U23 World Championships. I was based in Izegem with the US National Team. My apologies to loyal followers. Today's race update for Stage 6 is as follows:. Friday, April 1, 2011. 2009 Cycle Smart Int'l.

Words And Wheels: November 2009
http://wordswheelsandwhy.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Life, on bikes, in words. Wednesday, November 4, 2009. After Saturday's Wicked Creepy 'Cross in Bennington. Anyway I got over it. I was pre-registered for the HPCX UCI race down in New Jersey, but I was dreading the 6 hour round trip and felt ill-equipped to score UCI points given the relatively strong field. Ethan Gilmour and Me, running the Birch Logs. Photo Courtesy of Alan Atwood. Al got an uncharacteristically quick start, but I sneaked past him for the hole shot and led through the barriers and ont...

theamywallace: August 2008
http://theamywallace.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Amy's awesome adventures took a journey north this weekend, to the far reaches of Aroostook County. In Maine. Below is a typical view of the landscape and the roads I found for some biking on a few days there. It was a bit hillier than I expected! But really, I didn't do that much biking. I did enough to make myself not feel lazy, and other than that I did some hardcore relaxing. This involved some boating, some swimming. And dancing, more boating and swimming. After I left th...
