In The Wires is the weblog of Niall Roderick Kennedy Slater. Thursday, 13 December 2007. Animals form the subject of a new exhibition now on at The Stables Gallery in Brent. The large-scale paintings on show have a predominantly feline theme, with cats as a recurring subject throughout the paintings on show and are the work of Kennington-based artist Hazel Basran. The theme was the idea of Stables gallery curator Chris Channing who had put on an exhibition at the gallery themed around dogs the year before.
