Unveiled: Lenten Reflections, Week 1
http://unveiled11.blogspot.com/2013/02/lenten-reflections-week-1.html
Sunday, February 17, 2013. Lenten Reflections, Week 1. We live during an age where everything must happen. And not a second too late. Which is why the church calendar is now more relevant than ever. It's not inherently holy, but it's a beautiful way to mark time. It's a way to remember that, as the writer of Ecclesiastes says, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." We cannot actively engage in all activities necessary for growth at one time. Subscribe to: Pos...

Unveiled: February 2013

Sunday, February 24, 2013. Lenten Reflections, Week Two. So much life packed into one week. In so many ways. What am I learning? It's hard to purposefully pick a long line to wait in. It's hard to stay in the slow lane and let other cars pass me up. It's hard to walk slowly. It's hard to do one thing at a time. It's hard to be stuck on an escalator behind an older woman and her big suitcase when I'm trying to get across the airport to catch my flight. It's even harder to want. Sunday, February 17, 2013.

Unveiled: May 2012
http://unveiled11.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 23, 2012. I lived in Colorado for nine months. I fell in love with purple mountains, red rocks, clear blue skies, liturgy, bluegrass music, and the Church. And really, I knew so little of love until I came face to face with Love Himself. Thursday, May 10, 2012. Went camping under a million stars. Became a member of a church and ordained as a layperson. Cooked "real food" for myself. Flew home for the holidays. Pulled an all-nighter. at Waffle House. Got in touch with my emotional side.

Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Everyone should read my friend Erica's latest post. It's real and honest, people. Grace and LGBT Communities 101. Gods world is too big and beautiful for us, but its satisfactions are too small. They are never enough. Because we are made for eternit. Choosing Gods grace isnt easy or fun all of the time. I struggle greatly with needing to understand why there is evil . Read your Bible every day? One Thousand Gifts: #1. One Thousand Gifts: #1. Read your Bible every day?

Unveiled: November 2012
http://unveiled11.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 17, 2012. Saturday morning. Sitting in my comfy chair, french toast with warm apple compote on top, fresh-brewed cup of coffee, music playing softly in the background. Chilly, mid-November day; skies are clear, trees have all but shed their leaves. The gentle breeze whispers, "All is well.". Yet, somehow underneath it all, I hear a beckoning to "Come home.". How can this be? These all died in faith,. Not having received the things promised, but. Having acknowledged that they were.

Unveiled: December 2012
http://unveiled11.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 29, 2012. This past Sunday, I got an early Christmas gift in the form of my dear friend, Kate. We met at Denver Seminary and quickly made the connection that she was born in my hometown and we had a mutual friend, Lauren Colarusso. It was a sweet surprise when I got a text Sunday morning saying she was in town and wondering if I'd have time to meet up later. Did I? Not even a question. My heart cannot stop smiling. Sunday, December 9, 2012. And in that moment, I knew that my yearning h...

Wednesday, February 15, 2012. 8220;Wherever you are, be all there." -Jim Elliot. I have taken this to be my goal for the semester.fully aware I will not "arrive" by May, but trying to take baby steps. I will do one thing at a time, and I will do it well. I will listen to music because it feeds my soul. I will read stories because they let me feel more human. I will be with people, because they are. I will try new foods and enjoy the way they smell, feel, and taste. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://unveiled11.blogspot.com/2013/06/new-bloggety-blog.html
Thursday, June 6, 2013. Some of you might have noticed I've started writing elsewhere. This blog has tended toward my spiritual journey and musings along the way. I'm sure I'll still pop in here every now and then. I've started a new blog at http:/ jacinthagrace.wordpress.com/. To be another space for my musings, especially as I start a new adventure as a graduate student. I hope it's a way for me to challenge, express, and encourage. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
