Running, Eating and Teaching my way through life. Monthly Archives: July 2013. My ‘New’ Gym Bag. July 24, 2013. I have a lot of different gym bags, pretty lululemon ones, nice ones from my mom etc. In the past week I started using a new gym bag, that’s not so new haha. So the bag is good, it is filled with all the things I need while working out on the go – because my life is not as easy as simply driving home 2 mins from the gym. No usually I have to go to work or something. What’s in your gym bag?

Check, I actually ran three this year! 8211; Run a half marathon. 8211; Buy a bike.

Mine is full of sleeping and eating too much junk food. But you know what, tomorrow is the beginning of something, that something being the training cycle for the Ottawa Half Marathon! I made it myself, as should you for your body type. Tuesday – alternate weeks speed and hill workouts weights. Wednesday – 3-6 miles pace at the park. Saturday – Rest.

The fiance and I went to the Bay Area in June to see some friends. First we stopped by to see my friend J. who lives in El Cerrito. We had lunch at Bistro 1491. Where I had a salad with duck comfit. Then we went for a walk by the Richmond waterfront where the Rosie the Riveter Museum. For the first time to see what the fuss is all about.
