A Photo Blog of Coupeville, WA, Ebey Reserve and Whidbey Island. September 4, 2015. FOGGY WHARF – September 4, 2015. I was surprised by the fog this morning. When I left the house it was partly cloudy but a couple of miles into my walk the fog rolled in. That made for some interesting photos. My brother Ron always says, “If it’s foggy take foggy photos.” so I did. Here’s the Coupeville Wharf from the bluff to the southwest. Here’s the full display. Pacific Northwest Art School. A Photo Blog of Coupeville, WA, Ebey Reserve and Whidbey Island. March 2, 2016. A SLIPPERY SLOPE – March 2, 2016. I’m still trying to figure out what happened to February, my how time flies! A few weeks ago I mentioned that the bank along Front Street is starting to erode and fall away. Well it’s gotten worse with all the winter high tides and high winds. Here’s a good example of the problem. As you can see it’s falling off in big chunks. US Coast Guard Cutter. February 10, 2016. First off, thank you for...

Our weather was perfect and I’m sure many picnic baskets were emptied. This morning I walked three and a half miles and as usual found some things from around Coupeville to share. First I noticed this raccoon and as I was getting my camera turned on and positioned it started running at me! It’s being swallowed by a rose bush but ...

A Photo Blog of Coupeville, WA, Ebey Reserve and Whidbey Island. May 10, 2016. TREE AND TWO HOMES – May 19, 2016. Well look at this, I’m back for a second day in a row! It always amazes me to see things that I’ve walked by a hundred times and never noticed. Sometimes the morning light changes things enough to bring out those hidden gems. Here’s a closeup of the tree in the golden morning light. Thanks for joining me on this morning’s walk and hopefully we’ll do it again tomorrow. Tagged Blue Goose Inn.

I thought once the weather got nicer I’d be walking and blogging more but along with good weather came many projects that I put off during the winter months. We even went camping for a week. First a couple of flower shots from around our house. These flowers are on our front porch. These Daisies are volunteer and just exploded this year.
