Two Pretzels was named for a joke. Sort of an inside joke. Sort of a joke that may. Give you a teeny-tiny window into who I am. Quirks and all. And, well this 'twas the only joke. In which I'd ever remembered the punchline. Two pretzels were walking down the street. one was a salted.". Now it appears that Two Pretzels has evolved into a perfect reference to my two daughters: Lila Ross and Vivienne Kate. Life has a funny way of always working out, no? Read about my ladies here. March 1, 2015. In a post created December 17, 2014 I wrote about my current makeup favorites. It was The Best of 2014:The Makeup you should be using. I need to update said list. I touted the greatness of Lancome Grandiose Wide-Angle Fan Effect Mascara. And I [ averts eyes. At that point I had used it about 3-4 times a week for a few weeks. Fast forward to today, about 2.5 months later - I cannot stand. So, my suggestions are to fall back on Lancome Hypnose Full Volume. So there you have it. Oh My, Marta!

Updated 3.5.2016. My Mom and my girls - July 2013. My Mom died on September 9th, 2013. I was expecting it. But then again, I wasn't. Since she's died, I've written. and I've shared my thoughts on this wretched experience. I've been moved by the support, the love and the solidarity. Absolutely encompassed in love. My life (the things i'm amused by and with) on display. Monday, January 21, 2013. Today, i officially feel like a human again. I have a job, which i may have mentioned a time (or 17) that seems to consume my life during roughly 8 out of 12 months of the year. the other 4 months are just a bit more sustainable/normal but it's still stressful and busy during those months, too. Because God has ALL under His control. Saturday, July 28, 2012. I learned a lot of things in the last week. We had our first opportunity to have foster children in our home. They were here for a very short time, but there were so many lessons learned. I can't do this if Alan is not with me. If he ends up with a job traveling all the time, we would have to change our course. Having children in my home is HARD. Davin needs to have his own room for many reasons. Alan and I are a team.
