the Schultz family: November 2010
http://macyandmichaelschultz.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 4, 2010. We are done with the homestudy process. It was actually not as big of a deal as we were prepared for. Mostly just a hurry-up and wait process but at least that is behind us now. So, where are we in the process now? We are waiting to start receiving what they call "situations" and then will be presented to birthmoms and potentially match. Michael and I are praying hard for these opportunities. We are not sure a time frame on this but hopefully sooner that later.

http://macyandmichaelschultz.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 21, 2009. The week I found out I was in remission or NED (no evidence of disease) we also got a contract on our house and made an offer on a new house. It was a busy week but very exciting for us. The day is now approaching our closings and we are getting excited. I am a little sentimental towards my house because it was my first house and I. Have had a lot of first things happen while living in it. I have. Friday, October 2, 2009. I am officially in remission! We have had quite a week...

Thursday, April 7, 2011. Realizing I must live in the country. Oh what a day today has been. Only part of the snake. This snake doesn't belong near my house. On to a little later and while walking out to our back shed. what now.we have a BAT. What in the world! I am only a little freaked out by these latest two developments. I am not a fan of either of these two. I shouted at the bat to leave me and my house and my yard! I hope he listens. The sweetest puppy around! April 8, 2011 at 8:25 AM. BABY V. ...

http://macyandmichaelschultz.blogspot.com/2011/04/our-adoption-story.html
Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Many people have asked us to share our story because they or someone they know might be interested in adoption. So here is a very shortened story. It was an amazing feeling because it just felt right. They wheeled in Mills and he was absolutely the prettiest baby I have ever seen. It was an amazing precious moment that I will never forget. I was sacred. I so enjoyed reading this! April 9, 2011 at 10:40 AM. April 15, 2011 at 8:37 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

It has been an amazing journey and one that we will be forever be thankful for. We were all released from the hospital the next day and he is now "home" with us in the hotel until we clear the ICPC process to bring him home to Alabama. Hopefully this will go smoothly and we will be coming home next week. We cant wait to share the whole story.

the Schultz family: September 2009
http://macyandmichaelschultz.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 20, 2009. This weekend really is the first physical thing that I have done since January when I started chemo. It was a great feeling and I was excited to be "on the move" again. I am playing tennis in a league again starting in October, so I hope to begin to get some stamina back. I never really knew how much chemo stripped me of everything. Friday, September 4, 2009. Oh well maybe next month! Please pray that we get the word on September 28. 2) my hair to begin to grow back.
