Anything worth doing is worth doing better | Running On Pace

My Daily Training Blog. Anything worth doing is worth doing better. May 13, 2013. Great video about pushing yourself (actually about having someone else push you). The principles he discusses are applicable to everything in life that’s worth doing, whether it’s rowing, running a marathon or even your first 2 mile jog/walk, working your desk job, fostering a relationship, or raising children. Andy’s Daily Run – Grandma’s Marathon! | Running On Pace

http://runningonpace.com/2013/06/21/andys-daily-run-grandmas-marathon/comment-page-1

My Daily Training Blog. Andy’s Daily Run – Grandma’s Marathon! June 21, 2013. This time I’m forcing myself to take it easy, and I’ve designated certain points in the race where I can evaluate and increase the pace if I feel good, but only within certain bands. I. Like I could run sub-3 right now without a lot of difficulty, but I’m planning not to. If my plan works, I should finish in about 3:05. So far 26.2 is winning the war, but perhaps tomorrow will be my day…. Last few weeks… →. Follow Blog via Email.

This isn’t like something you know. You do not know what this looks like and I don’t care if you’re a great athlete or not, if your listening to this, you have to experience it. Running on One Good Hip. Thoughts and pictures from a running Librarian. Proud owner of 1 broken hip from 2014. Race, Rest, Race, Rest, Race…. August 2, 2015. August 2, 2015. I’ve not ran in a week since Thunder Run 24. Before Thunder Run I had a slight thigh strain that I would class as a discomfort. Certainly as a runner who clocks 70 miles a week regularly I am used to suffering discomfort and even enjoy it to a degree. 1) Learn the difference between discomfort and pain. 2) Do the sock test. I have g...

Running on Peanut Butter - Fueling Both Addictions

Running on Peanut Butter. Just a Handful of Questions Because It’s Thursday. August 13, 2015. By Running on Peanut Butter. I’m not sure if the end of the work week has flown by or what, but it’s almost here and I cannot wait. I can never pass up a fun survey, especially since they remind me of MySpace circa 2002. Everyone has a diff...
