Our family traveled to Seattle the first weekend in September to attend the wedding of Sean Stoker. Aspen and I had a blast dancing the night away…. In more good news, I have my next race determined. I'm going to run the Port to Fort 6k in Baltimore when I go up to visit grad schools in April. Sunday, September 28, 2014. Giving up marathon quality for quantity. I'm beginning to realize that when you go for marathon quantity, you give up marathon quality (time-wise), at least at my age. That's one clear conclusion after logging my worst marathon time in 13 years on a course that wasn't tremendously hilly. I love running marathons, but I crave good times even more. The progression of my 6 marathons this year shows a gradual slide in performance. There are many of my fellow Marathon Maniacs.
