Infinite Monkey Theorem: August 2007
http://infinite-theorem.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
If you put an infinite number of monkeys at an infinite number of typewriters, eventually one will bash out the script for Hamlet. I AM one of those monkeys. Now give me my banana. Tuesday, August 28, 2007. I'm thinking I may take a page from the wonderful Jill Golick. And break down episodes of some of the shows I've acquired. Anyone have requests as to what they'd like to see? My credit card companies must love me. What I did buy (yay for debt! Heroes - How could I not? The Shield (Season 1) - This is ...

Writerling: April 2012
http://writerling.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 10, 2012. I'm not even gonna talk about it. I'm here, now, let's just deal with it. I'm here, in Los Angeles. Back from Norfolk, Virginia and from New Orleans, Louisiana, and even a tiny stint moving from Denver and San Diego. Back from unemployment, at least for now. With an exciting job. With writers. I mean, I say it's an exciting job, but I really just get people their lunch. A few other random things, but lunch is pretty much the bulk of my working hours. Links to this post. Back to s...

Writerling: March 2008
http://writerling.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 27, 2008. As Joss said through his Prophet Alex. I had a decent hook, a funny B-story, and even a pretty good Act 3 twist (If I may say so myself), but none of that seemed to matter. Each thing was fine if it stayed alone by itself, but they all refused to play nice with each other. As a result, they just stayed as story elements and didn't really add up to anything more. And then, I remembered the Rule of Joss. Or at least, Alex Epstein’s Rule of Joss). Ahem. That emotion or problem?

Writerling: Gah! I’ve been memed!
http://writerling.blogspot.com/2008/09/gah-ive-been-memed.html
Wednesday, September 10, 2008. I’ve been memed! So it seems that Josh and Adam have prodded me out of my apathetic oblivion, and forced me post again. It was bound to happen sooner or later. The meme in question:…Why do I write TV? Let me start by answering a different question: why do I love TV? Watching TV was something I always. 8212;just so long as it was in film. And so I spent almost two years watching and making films, and even went through a short-lived pretentious film student phase. If ...I eve...

Writerling: What I did last weekend
http://writerling.blogspot.com/2007/04/what-i-did-last-weekend.html
Friday, April 06, 2007. What I did last weekend. Last week was crazy, otherwise I would have blogged about this sooner. But now I have time, and I can tell you: last Friday night, myself and a few of my fellow freedom fighters engaged in some culture jamming on the behalf of Governor Worf. Lieutenant Commander Worf was the first Klingon in Starfleet, and served on board the Enterprise (and later on the the Defiant. But I, being the nerd that I am, loved it and kept it for the treasure that it is. At NC S...

Writerling: August 2009
http://writerling.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. I'm gonna update this blog someday. The last time I updated, I had just got my first movie job. Now the job is over, and the movie is gonna come out in two weeks. I'm seeing billboards for it all over the place, and it's the most surreal thing ever. Pilot (and trying to make it better, somehow). 4) What decks I'm making to play at the SWCCG Cali states, and why I won't win any games with them at all, and 4)How hard writing is. As usual, lest you have forgotten.I am a huge nerd.

Writerling: ....politics?
http://writerling.blogspot.com/2008/09/politics.html
Monday, September 08, 2008. How did I not notice this before? Ps yes, the meme-answering post is coming. As is general life update, and UBS wrap-up. Today's my last day at the seemingly neverending internship. I like it a lot, but it's definitely time to move on to something else. Now I just need something else to move on to. Writerling: April 2011
http://writerling.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 08, 2011. Geez 2 years. I never blog anymore, do I? Though. And tumble. I'll come back here someday, and update you all on my goings on of being a script coordinator. Then a directors assistant. Then freelance (read: unemployed) for almost a year. And now, back at the illustrious position of Production Assistant in the great city of New Orleans. Geez 2 years really is a long time. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. What I'm Doing Now.

Writerling: July 2008
http://writerling.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 18, 2008. In which too many nerds descend on an ill-fitting back room. The writers meetup was a great success- if you gauge success by how many people you can cram into a hot, sweaty back room of a pub. Which I do. Probably the most surreal part of the night was being recognized by people who read this blog. I'm using the word "read" very liberally, since this blog is not updated nearly enough to garner regular readers. Also nice was meeting. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
