The Confessions of a Lazy Runner. Confessions of a Lazy Runner. August 1, 2015. I think all runners go through this at one point or another…the dreaded bout of laziness where you just can’t get your self out there to do what you have to do. How do you get past this? For me, I just have to get out there and do it…easier said than done when your “bout” has been going on for about 2 years! I should be able to make this happen! The Confessions of a Lazy Runner. Living Up To A Name. August 5, 2015. Long Beach Half Marathon 2011. It has been a crazy week and therefore, I am definitely living up to my name of a “Lazy Runner”! I know everything is an excuse, but I have had some good ones this week so far. Monday…well it was Monday afterall! Tuesday, I was at the hospital all day with family as my dad had to have a procedure done on his heart and today, well…I didn’t feel like it! How’s that for honesty? Surf City Half Marathon 2008.
