Harare goes to The Falls. Run/Walk for Life Zimbabwe was very visible at the recent Vic Falls Marathon and Half Marathon. We had three runners finish the 42km in under 5 hours (Comrades here we come? And eight doing the 21km. All finished under 3hrs 10mins. Well done to all who took part – for some it was their first 21km and they loved the experience. The bunch with Zimbabwe’s darling of the pool – Kirsty Coventry. You can’t beat that for a view.

10th Annual RunWalk For The Kids takes place. SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2015 TOWN POINT PARK, NORFOLK, VIRGINIA. In light of the high temperatures please take the following precautions to prevent any heat illness:. Slow their pace down (it is not a day to set a PR). Drink at each water stop AND hydrate well before the race. Stop and walk (or stop completely) if they don’t feel well. Run near the fountains near the end to be misted. This is a FUNdraising event we want you to FIRST BE SAFE, and second HAVE FUN!
