I can't remember a year when I've been sick this much, and where so many of my friends and their kids are just as ill. January and February was a stream of colds and the flu. Wesley was sleeping through the night for a stretch, so that was helpful. Around 3 or 4 am, Matt emailed his boss, said he'd be late to work. Needless to say, these last few days I haven't been very hungry...

Every day the baby disappears, and the toddler is emerging. Awwwww, so cute! Dont worry, theres still lots of baby left for a while yet, but OH MY GOSH is this next period of growth and discovery exciting! I loved the 12-24 month period with both of my kids SO much. Just fun. Sunday we finally made it out to the beach, which was supposed to be the nice day. It was a bit blustery and rainy at first, but the weather finally cleared up enough to where we felt like we could take Wesley to the beach. And he LOVED it!
