So, I have finished writing and producing the music for Adam Well's. Up-and-coming animated short, and it's looking pretty darn good. I have learned a lot about the film-scoring process, and had the chance to work with some very talented and professional people:. Brendan J. Hogan. Sound (ambient, foley, fx, other noises). Horns (Performer and co-writer for tenor, alto, baritone, trumpet and clarinet parts). Guitars (Performer and co-writer for acoustic and electric guitar parts). Only one clip per person.

I wanted each character to have it’s own sound – I used two different guitar players to represent the main ‘red’ and ‘blue’ lead roles, and a horn player for the ‘yellow’ guy…. Red Guitar – Ryan Robinson. Blue Guitar Mixing – Matt Oglesby. Yellow Horns – Rob Digweed. Which colour is best? 8211; maybe the world’s just not quite that simple, and we should aim for a blend. Fake Expectations is an animation about two artists who compete for the top prize at the annual art competition.
