http://susanabbott.blogspot.com/2013/03/last-of-storm-hope-town.html
Susan Abbott's Visual Journal. Monday, March 18, 2013. Last of the Storm, Hope Town. The last storm cloud lifting over one of the last hand wound, kerosene lighthouses left in the world. Labels: 10 inches by 10 inches. Oil on linen panel. Great workshop on Saturday, Susan. I am inspired. All thats left is the DOING. A Painter's Year: Windy On the Bay Side, Elbow Cay
http://susanabbott.blogspot.com/2013/02/windy-on-bay-side-elbow-cay.html
Susan Abbott's Visual Journal. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Windy On the Bay Side, Elbow Cay. This is one of those "I only have a half hour, so I'm just not going to give a damn" watercolors- which I find, if filed away to age in the "mess" drawer for awhile, sometimes don't look so bad when pulled out again a few weeks later- especially during a snowy day back home in Vermont. Labels: 10 inches x 14 inches. This is really beautiful. Love the wind effects on the trees and the colours are lovely.
