May you seek Christ. May you find Christ. May you love Christ. I didn’t sign up for this . . . September 22, 2015. You’ve been up all night and day. Not a wink of sleep. Whenever you have a moment to sleep, you are torn between cleaning and tidying up your messed up dwelling or trying to catch some zzz’s. Whenever you choose the latter, the second you hit the pillow, the cries of your newborn wakes you just seconds after you close your eyes. I’ll change your diaper. Are you still hungry? Do you have gas?

May you seek Christ. May you find Christ. May you love Christ. Becoming too familiar with holy things. February 22, 2015. I just finished reading a wonderful spiritual reflection by an Episcopal priest. Marcus Halley, on why he has started wearing his cassock again. How about your baptismal call? Fr Halley f...

May you seek Christ. May you find Christ. May you love Christ. Category Archives: Spiritual Disciplines. November 16, 2013. I am working on a personal project which is leading me in all sorts of directions. Last night it led me to the following quote, which I really liked it, so I now pass it on to you. I’ve bolded. Certain terms that I found particularly poignant. The most common yet most hidden. Sometimes we turn to the Lord as a last resort, but do we really believe he is? Can flow both ways:. Hoping ...

May you seek Christ. May you find Christ. May you love Christ. July 10, 2015. I’ve recently begun reading through Pope Francis’ recent encyclical Laudato Si (Praised Be To You). With a friend at work. It’s 184 pages, so not a quick read, though the language isn’t very technical (so far), so most of me readers should be able to get through it pretty quick if you want to. Sacramental Perception: Everything is Holy, wholly.
Sacramental Perception: Everything is Holy, wholly. This is the paradox of love between man and woman: two infinites meet two limitations, two infinite needs to be loved meet two fragile and limited capacities to love. Only on the horizon of a greater love do they not consume themselves in pretension and do not resign themselves, but walk together toward a fullness of which the other is sign (Rainer Maria Rilke). Sacramental Perception: Everything is Holy, wholly.
