Musings of a Crafty Jenny: August 2012
http://jenrenjewelry.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Musings of a Crafty Jenny. Friday, August 17, 2012. Today is the big reveal for the link challenge! As a reminder, here's what I began with:. The wrapping didn't turn out how I wanted. I also discovered that you have to pay attention to how the links are connected, so the connection point is either on the top or the bottom of the links for it to lay correctly. So, it was back to the drawing board, or the beading board in this case. ;). I had so much fun doing this! I just want to thank Peggy for hosting ...

Another great blog hop. This time waxed linen. May 24, 2014. Thanks to Diana Ptaszinski from Suburban Girl Studio LLC. I decided to make a bracelet inspired by Stephanie Sersich. It incorporates waxed linen inside and you see it best on the loop. I made all the little bubble beads that have a peace murrini in them. Contact me directly if you are interested in purchase. Monday, June 10, 2013. A day at the flea market. Yesterday I spent a good portion of the day at our local flea market. I got some antique keys and vintage brass stampings for my jewelry designs. I also picked up a cute vintage Sarah Conventry necklace for only a buck! I forgot to put on sunscreen though, so a beautiful day turned into a very ugly sunburn! Posted by Rochelle Brisson. BeadsongJewelry: July 2014
http://beadsong.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Do you work with patinas on your metals? I make all of my clasps from sterling, gold filled, and copper wire, but I've never really explored putting a patina on them. Then I read a really cool tip from Rena Klingenberg. On how to oxidize metals using hard boiled eggs. And I decided to play. Then I waited about 20 minutes. And this is what I got! First, if you're going to do this, pull together all the metal you want to oxide to do in one batch, because the magic doesn't happen with...

The reveal… | Zestyfrog
https://zestyfrog.wordpress.com/2014/05/10/the-reveal
Skip to primary content. May 10, 2014. So, the time has now come to reveal what I have been working on… I have been kind of busy as I have been away to Prague on an enamelling course (but I’ll cover that in another post). The bead soup I received was wonderful with shimmering colours and very elegant lamp work beads. This must have made the creative process easy you might think? I started by making some silver clay component which would compliment the glass. Two of the silver pieces were hand carved.

UniquelyMe - Beads, Wire, and Desire: Anklet Reveal
http://uniquelymebwd.blogspot.com/2013/06/anklet-reveal.html
UniquelyMe - Beads, Wire, and Desire. Saturday, June 1, 2013. I've enjoyed these blog hops that I've been participating in lately. They've been a nice conduit for creativity and allow me to expand outside of my comfort zone. This time, I volunteered to do an anklet reveal. There are no rules here except to create an anklet which, in and of itself, is a challenge for me. I've never made one. :). Below are all of the participants for the awesome anklet hop. Thank you again Kashmira! Http:/ whimsicalweaving...

UniquelyMe - Beads, Wire, and Desire: Earring Swap Reveal
http://uniquelymebwd.blogspot.com/2013/05/earring-swap-reveal.html
UniquelyMe - Beads, Wire, and Desire. Monday, May 20, 2013. First, huge kudos out to Jessica Murray who hosted this blog hop. She's put up with all of quite admirably. Check out her blog, Whimsical Monkey, here. I've been a bit remiss in my posting lately. I blame a lack of time to do things :) Rather, I've prioritized some items and crafting has taken a bit of a backseat. HOWEVER, I have the privilege of participating in a fun new blog hop for earrings! The rules were this -. 1 Create some earrings.
