We ve conducted camps for their health and have visited schools for helping them. Sadhana has contributed desks for them in a school. It has also provided 30 bicycles to school kids living away from the highschool. Finding that many students lag behind in their studies Sadhana has started a Supportive Education Project.

More important has been the awareness building and strengthening of community affinity among them. The women who used to be silent spectators of things in their villages have started questioning the men leaders. They are now more conscious of their rights as women and take initiative to exercise them.
