I mean, they have their redeeming qualities, i'm just not sure what those qualities are. So the other day, as we were watching diners, drive-ins and dives on food network. The show's host went to a place that made fresh NY style bagels. i *had* to watch. So i'm posting the recipe here. not as i found it by emeril on food network. Let me know if you like it!

We made it back from our mexico trip just to turn around and head to NC for another wedding. now we're home until july when we go to nj for a week. So i'm feeling like i can breathe a bit easier and have time to do all the things i have been neglecting - like my blog, and the kitchen floor ;). I can fill you in on the mexico trip in another entry - it was amazing! And Baby Makes Three.

Turkey day was great - mom and dad arrived early, and we had a nice midnight chat. then i had a couple of days before the atlanta crew showed up. turkey day consisted of everyone cooking and kids running around and food (of course). i believe the tv was even turned on for a bit of football, but i'm not 100% sure. Dad was here, and he did in fact help me - not with the emptying of the boxes, i did that when he was napping, but we hung photos and dug up the dead bushes in my front garden. and we got in some sight-seeing and he got to see my office. i guess the biggest accomplishment was he got to meet my music man - and they both liked each other! This year, my tree's been up for 2 weeks, all my presents are wrapped, and i'm getting ready to head to my little sister's with my music man for the night. i've mopped my kitchen floor (it was a disaster after the party!
