The Turner Five: August 2012
http://turnerfive.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2012. Sri Lankan Food Bazaar- Jo. This is why we moved to DC. So mama could find some obscure food festival and drag us there and force us to eat weird food. Here's the good news- the Sri Lankans served cookies. We ate a bunch. The bad news is that they also served a lot of weird dried fish-based foods that mama tried to get us to eat. Henry was really impressed with the big Buddha. We wished we could have seen some monks. (Maybe they were there but in plain clothes? He did such a go...

The Turner Five: Unicorns- Georgiana.
http://turnerfive.blogspot.com/2012/11/unicorns-georgiana.html
Thursday, November 15, 2012. I was supposed to be a garden gnome for Halloween, but mama tried the costume on me and I wouldn't put on the hat. And that left me looking less like a gnome and more like a grumpy German kid. But mama remembered something she saw on the Pinterest and hit up the thrift store for supplies. And a unicorn was born. We all pretty happy with how these turned out. I insisted on wearing mine everywhere with the hood up. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Turner Five: June 2012
http://turnerfive.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 29, 2012. Henry's school program- Mama. Papa was out of town, so I got an early morning babysitter and headed to Henry's class for the end of year program. It was supposed to be outside, but it was raining, so 42 kids and their parents all squeezed into one room. First up, the "Read a Book" song. You can't really see Henry in any of these videos, but he's the one in front of the pink hairbow and behind the ponytail with glasses. You'll catch a glimpse of him from time to time. Our fourteen y...

The Turner Five: September 2012
http://turnerfive.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 29, 2012. Mama joined a road runners club- primarily because they have 30 races a year that don't charge admission. And they host multiple kid races. Mama and I ran the quarter mile race. I was one of the oldest in the race. Mama thinks next time I should run the half mile race. But I was the only one who ran in a pirate costume. And probably the only one who had to be dragged across the line because she was scared of the mascot dog at the finish. Friday, September 28, 2012. Henry and...

The Turner Five: October 2011
http://turnerfive.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. I love our little playhouse! Mama has been hitting up every church hot dog dinner lately. This one had a fishing game where you caught teddy bears! June LOVES her new pinkie. It was too warm for my costume, so June decided I could be a princess. I brought down the house. Though I refused to wear my crown for very long. This year Henry is a train engineer. Double bonus for Henry- he loves trains and he gets to wear normal clothes. This guy is too smart for his own good. This is J...

The Turner Five: February 2012
http://turnerfive.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Day 2 of Delhi started out at a Muslim mosque- Jama Masjid (1658). For modesty, we ladies donned these very attractive and great-smelling robes before we entered. That is one long broom atop one tall ladder. We got to climb the narrow winding staircase of one of the minarets. (All of the Wagners got slightly nervous on the climbs up and down.). The gang at the top. A view of the square. We got kicked out at noon as the call to prayer started. Tuesday, February 28, 2012.

The Turner Five: Aunt Jenni!- Jo.
http://turnerfive.blogspot.com/2012/10/aunt-jenni-jo.html
Wednesday, October 31, 2012. We found the camera. Mama says goblins must have taken it, because she search the vans 4 times, then the goblins brought it back and put it in the pocket in the door as a joke. Sure thing, mama. We started off at the Bureau of Engraving to see how money was made. Then we headed to our favorite place- the old Post Office Tower. Right there we knew we nailed the day for AJ. A factory tour AND climbing steps up a tower? It doesn't get better than that! These two sure are goofy.
