Wird 1984 in Teheran geboren, wo er bis 1996 zur Schule geht. In Deutschland besucht er zunächst eine Auffangklasse für Flüchtlinge, dann die Realschule und schließlich das Gymnasium von Lengerich bei Osnabrück. 2006 macht er Abitur als Jahrgangsbester. Als Stipendiat der Vodafone-Stiftung studiert er zunächst BWL an einer privaten Eliteuniversität in Vallendar, dann Philosophie und Geschichte in Frankfurt am Main.
